Visiting Scholar, Grants and Projects Coordinator

Agnieszka Nimark has been a long-term visiting scholar at PACS since 2014. She is also a non-resident associate senior researcher in Global Geopolitics and Security at Barcelona Centre for International Affairs (CIDOB) in Spain. 

Nimark holds a master’s degree in international public law and international organizations from the University of Paris 1-Pantheon-Sorbonne and a Ph.D. in law from the European University Institute, Florence, Italy. As a visiting scholar at PACS, she works on archival, documentary, and oral history projects related to nuclear disarmament movements. Her main areas of expertise are the evolution of the United Nations collective security and peacekeeping system in the post-Cold War period and the role of regional organizations in conflict prevention and crisis management.
